Hotel operations,
taught by Operators who’ve run hotels.
Five tracks. Three levels. One credential the industry can actually verify. Free with a Consultancy engagement.
The five languages of a hotel.
Each track is led by an Operator who has actually run a property. Inside, you progress Foundations → Practitioner → Operator.
First vocabulary. Then technique. Then ownership.
Every track has three levels. The order matters — reflexes before technique, technique before owner-level thinking. Skip a step and the next won't hold.
Foundations
For people just stepping into the hotel — front desk, reservations, F&B service, junior managers.
The mental models, vocabulary, and reflexes the rest of the Academy assumes. KPIs you can explain to an owner. The OTAs and PMS without the jargon. A first language for revenue, ops, distribution.
- Read an OTA console without panic
- Explain ADR, RevPAR, GOPPAR to an owner in 30 seconds
- Spot the three most common pricing mistakes on your hotel's OTAs
Practitioner
For 2–5 years in. Revenue analysts, front-office supervisors, distribution coordinators, F&B leads.
Where reflexes turn into technique. Building a demand calendar that survives contact with reality. Running parity audits across 12 OTAs. Authoring SOPs the night shift actually follows. The 4-week book your owner sees.
- Build a 90-day demand forecast you can defend to your owner
- Run a full parity audit + remediate on the same day
- Write SOPs that survive turnover
Operator
For 5+ years, or the Consultancy track. GMs, revenue directors, area managers, owners.
Owner-level thinking. The math behind GOPPAR-positive. M&A, brand position, distribution mix theory, AI integration strategy. What a Consultancy operator runs every day, expressed as a curriculum.
- Run an honest GOPPAR diagnostic on any 100+ room hotel
- Author a 12-month operating plan an owner signs
- Lead a Consultancy practice — internally or with us
Four steps. One credential.
Not reading PDFs. Building a new reflex.
Modules + lessons
Each course is 4–8 modules, each module 3–7 lessons. Lessons are 5–8 minutes — Operator on-camera, transcript, structured notes.
Practice + check
Every lesson ends with a 3–5 question check. Get the check right, move on. Miss it — the lesson points you back to the spot you missed.
Course exam
A 50-question, mixed-format exam at the end of every course. Pass with 70% to earn the certificate. Free retake after 7 days.
Verifiable certificate
A PDF + a public verify URL anyone can click. Co-signed by the Operator who taught you. LinkedIn, recruiter, owner — they can all verify it's real.
Foundations free. Honor is earned.
Three individual tiers, one team license. If you're on a Consultancy engagement, your hotel's whole staff is included — no extra invoice.

Seven questions. Seven answers.
Is the certificate real?
Yes. Every certificate has a public verification URL (otelciro.com/academy/cert/…) anyone can click. The page shows the recipient, course, date, and Operator who signed off. LinkedIn, recruiters, owners — anyone can verify it in one click.
I'm new to hotels. Is Foundations enough to get hired?
Foundations gets you to a place where the interview makes sense. You'll know the vocabulary, the KPIs, the OTAs. For most front-office, reservations, and analyst roles in a Turkish hotel, Foundations + one Practitioner track puts you ahead of 80% of applicants.
How long does each course take?
Foundations courses run 2–4 hours. Practitioner: 4–6 hours. Operator: 6–10 hours plus a live cohort. You work at your pace — content stays available, and you can come back to lessons after the course closes.
Can I take a course in Turkish, then get the cert in English?
Yes. Pick the locale at issue time. We render both versions of every certificate. Useful for staff in Turkish hotels who want an English-language credential for international moves.
Do hotels get a discount?
Yes — a team license at €2,400/yr covers unlimited seats per property. Hotels on a Consultancy retainer get Academy free for their whole staff (Practitioner + Operator included).
Who teaches the courses?
Operators who have actually run hotels. Every instructor has at least one tour as a GM, revenue director, or distribution lead at a property in Türkiye or near-region. No academics, no consultants-who-never-operated. Each track has a named Lead Operator who curates the curriculum.
What if I fail the course exam?
You can retake after 7 days. The questions rotate so it's not a memory test. We give you back a per-module breakdown showing which areas to revisit. No charge for retakes on Foundations + Practitioner.
