01 · WHO WE HIRE

Three kinds of people — all with property time.

OPERATORS

5+ years on property

Front office, F&B, revenue, distribution, finance, ops director. You've done at least one of these jobs end-to-end, with the bonus you got and the one you didn't.

ENGINEERS

PMS-adjacent or AI-fluent

TypeScript / Postgres / Cloudflare or AI agent infrastructure. Bonus: you've worked at a hospitality-adjacent company (PMS, channel manager, RMS, OTA) or built an LLM agent in production.

OPERATORS-IN-RESIDENCE

15+ years running properties

The senior-most hotel execs we hire. 6-month rotation. You sit between the practices and product, and your job is to decide what we build next — not to write tickets.

Transparent comp — actual numbers, not "market." Location is flexible, but "remote" means at least 4 years of fully remote experience. Every applicant gets a written response within 5 working days.

    Operations Practice Lead

    You've run front office, housekeeping, and F&B at a 200+ key property — not just owned the org chart. The SOPs you wrote are still in use after you left. You ship operational change without breaking morale.

    Distribution Practice Lead

    Computer-science background + at least 3 years inside a hospitality company shipping production AI workflows. You can architect a multi-step agent against a PMS API without breaking the state machine.

    Senior Engineer — Hospitality Platform

    Build the platform underneath the OtelCiro practices. TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres, Cloudflare/GCP, AI agent infrastructure. You've shipped at a B2B SaaS or PMS-adjacent company before.

    Senior Product Designer — B2B SaaS

    Design for operators who run hotels — not consumer software with "B2B" sprinkled on. You think in workflows, not screens. Bonus: experience designing for emerging-markets users and bilingual UIs.

  • In-ResidenceIstanbul · with travel· CONTRACT

    Operator-in-Residence (6-month rotation)

    The most senior hotel exec we hire. 15+ years running properties. Your job is to decide what we build next — not to write tickets. You'll sit between the consultancies and the product team and break ties.

    €18k/month + travel covered
03 · HOW WE PAY

Transparent comp. No haggling — numbers are public.

Base + practice carry

Practice leads get a base salary AND a percentage of practice P&L. The harder your practice books, the more you make. We don't cap the carry.

Equity for senior hires

Senior engineers, designers, and ops leadership get equity grants vested over 4 years with a 1-year cliff. We publish the latest 409A valuation in the offer letter.

Real health insurance

Private health insurance — TR + EU coverage. We pick a plan that covers private hospitals, not the "free flu shot" minimum. Spouse and kids included.

€2,400/year learning budget

Books, conferences, courses, even hotel stays at our practice partners (yes, your hotel-staying budget counts). No approval form — just submit the receipt.

04 · WHAT WE DON'T DO

Five things you won't see as a candidate.

We don't hire consultants who haven't worked a night shift in hospitality.
We don't pay below market. The published ranges are the ranges — no "negotiate later" games.
We don't ghost. Every candidate gets a written decision within 5 working days of their final round — even when it's a no.
We don't ask you to take a "trial week" without pay. Working sessions are paid (€800/day, prorated).
We don't recruit through commission-only agencies. We pay our own recruiters salary — they have no financial reason to push you through.
05 · HOW WE INTERVIEW

Three steps, no surprises.

Practice-lead screening

30 minutes with the practice lead (or the founder, for engineering roles). We tell you what the role actually involves; you tell us why it fits your trajectory.

02~2 hours · paid

Working session

Two-hour working session at one of our hotel partners or in our Istanbul office. Real problem, real data, real time pressure. €800 paid, prorated.

Final round + decision

Final 90 minutes with the founder and one operator who would be your peer. Written decision in your inbox within 5 working days, with feedback either way.
